That's not a beer gut. It's my GPS under my shirt....



Pretty steep if you happen to slip out here. Nice views of Mount Adams make the
possibility of instant death at any second worth it (sort of).









That's steam coming out of the lower cauldrun.... the Rangers seemed to be more
interested in being fare inspectors and hall monitors than in answering questions, so
maybe I'll ask the Nam Vet who works in the Vancouver Forest Service office about it.



That's a bird of prey in flight on the left just below the base of Mount Adams.
