Our first visit to 24th and Meatballs.... very good meatball subs!!!!
We'll likely hit this place once or twice a year.

Then a chocolate donut and coffee at Blue Star Donuts and Coffee...
also our first visit here. Very tasty donut (my first in 6 years). But,
they aren't Dunkin Donut or even Cannon Beach Bakery. Their Stumptown
coffee is very good. At almost $3 a donut, coming here will probably be
a very rare treat.

Happy tummy...... and happy that I still have very little grey hair.
Most geezers are totally grey/white by age 50. Nothing not to like about
that except my disappearing hairline and stupid bald spot in back.

The cobbler at Jubitz Truck Stop rebuilt my favorite boots again....
$70. pretty decent price since I will probably be in the ground before
the new ones wear out and need to be replaced again.

Of course he did say this was the last time he'd be able to put on new
soles and heels.... just like he said the last couple of times he replaced
them.

A chance stop at the Halfway House restaurant in Brinnon, Washington
turned out to be a rare find. Pretty good burgers, very good fries and
excellent home made pies! A perfect ending to a perfect long weekend.
