Getting there: From Portland, drive east on I-84 to Exit 28 (Bridal Veil). Drive east
on the Historic Highway 2.4 miles to the Wahkeena Trailhead

We were just out this way a couple of weeks ago.













A nice day. Somewhat overcast but warm and clear enough to get half way decent
pictures this time. Too damn many people (and dogs) out here for my tastes but what
are you gonna do? Since there are so many control freaks working in Multnomah
County government, maybe they'll come out here and start enforcing their own leash law
(or quit enforcing mandatory helmet laws).
