Around five years ago I considered buying this building which used to
be the Elkhorn Saloon. My idea was to make it a Biker destination for
AMA-type clubs, Corvette clubs and so on. When I contacted the owner,
who curiously lives in Sherwood, he told me that he has "numerous"
inquiries from serious buyers and that I should call him in a few
weeks to see if the place is still available. Needless to say, I didn't
call the arrogant a-hole.
So as you can see, the joint is still vacant. It's been for sale for
around 7-8 years at ~ $150,000 for the building, a home and an RV
campground. What a steal, huh?
